Bagging leaves can be messy, time consuming and miserable. I didn’t look forward to embarking on this year’s leaf-raking. “There must be a better way” I thought “I think I’ll ask Heavenly Father…” The ideas that followed ended up cutting my time in half and making my chore much easier so I thought I’d share:
Step 1. Get a tarp about 4 ft. by 4 fy. (I cut one out of an old camping tarp)
Step 2. Put an extra-large trash liner in a garbage can and keep it near the tarp area
Step 3. Lay the tarp down on the grass
Step 4. Rake leaves onto the tarp till about half covered
Step 5. Wrap the tarp like a burrito (I use gloves because this can be pretty dirty)
Step 6. Pick up your “burrito” and use it like a funnel to transfer your leaves to the garbage can
Step 7. When your bag is full pull it out, tie it off and repeat the above steps till you are done.
I hope this idea can save you some time and energy, too. If you are interested in learning how to bag your negative feelings and save time and energy join me on YouTube at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sLs3-S4Jmvo.
Happy “leafing”
